At the Kenya Water Institute (KEWI), we will hold our 38th Annual Graduation Ceremony on:

Date:      Friday, 27th November 2026
Time:     9.00 a.m.
Venue:    KEWI Main Campus, South C, Nairobi
Mode:     Physical ceremony

The Institute therefore warmly invites all graduating students to attend the ceremony physically, alongside their invited guests.

Guest Limit: Each graduand may invite a maximum of two (2) guests.

✅ GRADUATION STATUS

The final Prospective Graduands List will be published on the KEWI website approximately three weeks before the graduation ceremony.

All prospective graduands should check the list and confirm:

• Their graduation status.
• The accuracy of their names.
• The correct order of their names.
• Fulfilment of all academic requirements.
• Clearance of fees and other outstanding requirements.

Graduands should contact the Examinations and Certification Office at their respective campuses for any clarification or correction.

💳 GRADUATION FEES

Graduation Fee: KSh 4,000

All graduands are required to pay a graduation fee of KSh 4,000 by:

• Friday, 13th November 2026

Payment Method

All graduation fee payments should be made through the Student Portal via eCitizen.

Payment Steps

• Log into the Student Portal.
• Follow the prescribed payment procedure.
• Complete payment through eCitizen.
• Keep your proof of payment.
• Present proof of payment when collecting your graduation gown.

Important: Proof of payment will be required before a graduation gown is issued.

👩‍🎓 GOWN COLLECTION

Graduation Gown Collection

Graduation gowns will be issued at the Office of the Registrar, Academic Affairs, KEWI Main Campus, Nairobi.

Requirements

Graduands must:

• Have paid the KSh 4,000 graduation fee.
• Provide proof of payment.
• Complete the relevant gown-issue forms.
• Collect their gowns on the designated date.

Important :

Gowns will be issued strictly on the specified dates.

🕑 REHEARSAL

Graduation Rehearsal

All graduands are required to attend the graduation rehearsal.

• Date: Thursday, 26th November 2026
• Time: 2.00 p.m.
• Reporting Time: Graduands should be seated by 1.45 p.m.
• Dress: Graduands should attend the rehearsal in full graduation attire.

🏛️ GRADUATION DAY

38th Annual Graduation Ceremony

• Day : Friday, 27th November 2026,
• Time: 9.00 a.m.
• Venue: KEWI Main Campus – South C, Nairobi

The 38th Annual Graduation Ceremony will be held physically at the KEWI Main Campus.

Graduands should:

• Attend the ceremony physically.
• Report as directed by the Institute.
• Wear the prescribed graduation attire.
• Observe all ceremony instructions.
• Attend with a maximum of two (2) guests.

Guest Limit : Each graduand may invite only two (2) guests.

🔄 GOWN RETURN

Return of Graduation Gowns

All graduands are required to return their graduation gowns to:

Office of the Registrar, Academic Affairs
KEWI Main Campus, Nairobi

Return Deadline: Friday, 4th December 2026

Late Return : A fine of KSh 1,000 per day will be charged for each gown that remains unreturned after the deadline.

📜 CERTIFICATE COLLECTION

Collection of Certificates

The date and order for certificate collection will be announced through our official website www.kewi.go.ke.

Graduands are encouraged to regularly check the website and our social media platforms for official updates regarding:

• Certificate collection dates.
• Collection procedures.
• Collection arrangements.
• Any additional requirements.

Please Note : A fee will be charged for certificates stored beyond the collection period specified in the Examination Policy.
